The Reversible Reel-A-Buoy is the ultimate in marker buoy systems! It's the only marker buoy designed for daytime and nighttime use, and provides the convenience of a built-in wind-up reel. The reel operates with an easy-to-use cranking handle that brings the line in at approximately one foot per revolution. No more time-consuming winding and no more tangled messes. Plus, with the high power Reel-A-Buoy light, you can mark your fishing spots at night with visibility up to 1/5 mile! Use the clear side up for nighttime use or for marking "secret" spots that others won't see during the day. Use the yellow side up for high profile daytime use, or attach the optional extension flag for maximum visibility in even the roughest conditions. (Never lose another buoy because you can't find it on the lake!) The Reversible Reel-A-Buoy comes equipped with 60-feet of nylon line, and it will hold up to 200-feet of Dacron or monofilament line. Uses two AA batteries that will last up to 120 hours. With Reel-A-Buoy, marking fishing spots has never been so easy and effective!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Simply unscrew the lock knob one-quarter turn so that the reel may turn freely.
  2. Drop the buoy overboard to mark desired spot. The anchor weight will pull the line out until it hits bottom. The counterweight in the reel allows the buoy to rise and fall in the waves.
  3. On extremely windy days, tighten the lock knob in place to ensure that the buoy will stay in one position.
  4. To retrieve, simply crank in the line and tighten the locking knob. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.)

TO REVERSE THE BUOY
The buoy can be unscrewed from the reel bracket and reversed so that the other end floats up.

TO TURN ON THE LIGHT
Separate the buoy halves to expose the internal light. (The light can be left in the buoy or removed during daytime use.) Screw the light cap down until the light turns on. Unscrew the cap to turn the light off.
